DJI Air 3 Pricing Revealed, Fans Eagerly Await

Buzz is brewing around DJI, the Chinese tech giant known for its drones, as details emerge about its forthcoming drone, the 大疆创新 Air 3. Our first peek into this mystery comes from a leak by Quadro_News, shedding light on its potential pricing.

According to the leak, the 大疆创新 Air 3 Fly More Combo, which comes with a new RC 2 controller, is expected to cost around €1,294.65 or approximately $1,419.

While this might be the most expensive offering, it’s worth noting that it’s still cheaper by a few hundred dollars than DJI’s base model, the Mavic 3 Classic.

For those looking for a more affordable option, there’s a combo featuring the also-new RC-N2 smartphone controller, pegged at around €1,127.50 or $1,235.

However, these prices haven’t taken into account the higher import taxes in the US. Given that the US market is more competitive than the EU, which typically leads to lower prices, we anticipate that the US price for the 大疆创新 Air 3 Fly More Combo with the new DJI RC 2 will be under $1,500.

Similarly, the 大疆创新 Air 3 Fly More Combo with the new DJI RC-N2 should fall below $1,200. As usual, the Fly More Combos will include two additional batteries, a charging hub, extra propellers, and a carry case.

Once officially launched, the 大疆创新 Air 3 is slated to succeed the Air 2S as DJI’s mid-tier consumer drone, positioning itself as a likely contender for the best-value-for-money, new DJI drone.

Initially, we projected the release of the new DJI Air 3 drone to occur as early as June 28th, 2023. However, given the absence of typical pre-launch leaks, photos, and other information, we have now adjusted our anticipated release date to sometime in July.
