This is a firm indicator that the much-anticipated drone is soon to hit the market. DJI, as always, keeps the thrill alive by maintaining secrecy around its key details, like photos, manuals, and additional specifics.

It’s projected that the 大疆创新 Air 3 and its remote controllers, DJI RC-N2 and DJI RC 2, will launch in July. This assumption aligns with the pattern that DJI typically releases a teaser video a week prior to the launch date.

DJI Air 3 Intelligent Flight Battery Label

The FCC filings reveal that the drone will have a battery with a significantly enhanced capacity. At 4241 mAh, it’s around 20% higher than the DJI Air 2S‘s intelligent flight battery (3500 mAh). While a portion of this additional power will be needed to process higher image quality, the drone’s flight time is also anticipated to increase significantly.

One noteworthy detail when examining the leaked 大疆创新 Air 3 images is the lack of the Hasselblad name on the camera front. It leaves room for speculation that DJI might be preserving that title and its corresponding color science for its pricier 大疆创新 Mavic 3 series.
